Changzhou Hengshan Museum was approved as a national 2A-level tourist attraction

According to the "Classification and Evaluation of Quality Grades of Tourist Attractions" and the "Measures for the Management of Quality Grades of Tourist Attractions", Changzhou Hengshan Museum was approved as a national 2A-level tourist attraction after self-inspection and self-inspection of scenic spots, preliminary recommendation of the Social Undertaking Bureau of Changzhou Economic Development Zone, and expert evaluation organized by Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism.

Changzhou Hengshan Museum was established in March 2012 with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial Administration of Cultural Relics. The museum is located in Hengshanqiao Town, Economic Development Zone, Changzhou City, with a construction area of nearly 6,000 square meters, and the name of the museum is inscribed by Mr. Yan Gongda, vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. The museum has Hengshan Pavilion, Bronze Pavilion, Porcelain Pavilion, Strange Stone Pavilion, Pottery Pavilion, Home Furnishing Pavilion, Agarwood Pavilion, Art Museum and other exhibition halls, as well as theme exhibition halls, calligraphy and painting creation studios, etc., with a total of more than 4,000 pieces of strange stones, porcelain, bronzes, purple sand tea sets, pottery works, calligraphy and painting, sculptures, mahogany furniture, etc.

The museum has successively held a series of nearly 100 temporary exhibitions, such as "Calligraphy and Art" - Beijing Changzhou Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition, "Life and Great Love" - Liu Huaming Xue Linna Art Exhibition, Luoyang Cultural Relics Exhibition, "Life, Interest, Vision" - Late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China Porcelain Special Exhibition, "Concentric Help, Evoke the Breeze" - Anti-corruption and Integrity Theme Cartoon Exhibition, etc.

Since its opening, the museum has been rated as "Jiangsu Science Education Base", "Changzhou Patriotism Education Base", "Changzhou Concentric Culture Demonstration Base", "Changzhou Social Science Education Popularization Demonstration Base" and "Changzhou Science Museum". At the same time, the museum is also the "Teaching Practice Base of the School of Socialism of Yangzhou University", "Changzhou Kaiming Painting and Calligraphy Institute", and "Changzhou Dingyan Primary School Off-campus Practice Base".
